Woody Allen was no doubt hugely relieved when the Philip Seymour Hoffman tragedy knocked him off the front pages. But he barely had time to catch his breath and gather his thoughts. Now another adopted son, Moses, has brought the Woody molestation accusation back in the news – but he is SUPPORTING his father. Moses, 36, told People “Of course, Woody did not molest my sister. I don’t know if my sister really believes she was molested or is trying to please her mother. Mia tried to turn all her children against Woody to pay him back for falling in love with Soon-Yi.” Moses is now estranged from his mother and reconnected with his adopted father Woody. By the way, we happen to think it is very wrong to try to drag the actors who work with Woody into this mess and imply they are guilty by association.

technically (biologically) the children Allen and Previn adopted together are not their children either, would it also be ok for
Allen to pursue a sexual or romantic relationship with those kids?
feelings are one thing, actions are other. Allen might have felt attracted to Previn but he went there and it all looks suspicious!

I think Diane Keaton’s Golden Globes tribute should have been about his work but when she gushed about him it was personal. She invited all of this scrutiny and of course he doesn’t hold up under scrutiny.

I’ll err on the side of a young girl (now adult) who made the accusation as opposed to a rich, powerful man who may believe he can get away with anything. So I don’t feel any sympathy for him since it won’t and hasn’t stopped him from making films and having people still support and praise his genius.

This Moses has NO idea if anything happened between his sister and Woody, only the two of them know. My brother is a retired police detective, he said children rarely make up this type of story, because it brings a lot of trouble down on them, endless interrogations etc. He may not have raped her but I absolutely believe he touched in inappropriately at a minimum.
Good points here on this thread. I believe Dylan. Unless Moses can prove he followed Dylan around for that entire period of their lives, he has no credibility. I have a family member who also has lots of brothers and sisters who was abused by another family member and kept the secret from all of us for 30 freaking years! She started seeing a shrink about it when she was in her thirties, and after a year of counseling was able to tell us all about it. These things happen all the time and the molesters are often someone you would never believe it of. Btw, this story was circulating the internet yesterday, a quote WA made years ago:

My issue with the Woody Allen case is that prosecutors did not go after him 20+ years ago when the allegations were first brought. Why? Was there not enough evidence? If so, there still isn’t enough evidence and frankly, I’m tired of hearing about it. Woody Allen supporters will continue to support him. Mia Farrow supporters will continue to support her. Enough with dragging this through the press again.
