It’s hard to believe that Liberace’s Las Vegas mansion built in 1962, is on the market for $530,000. Before the real estate crash the house sold for 3.5 million. But the house is a gigantic 15,000 sq ft, with only two huge bedrooms and ten bathrooms! A lot of the house seems dedicated to entertaining. Many of Liberace’s touches still remain – check out that bedroom ceiling mural. We knew real estate values in Las Vegas have suffered, but this is astonishing.

Just Google Street the address and where Liberace house is in kind of a dumpy neighborhood. The homes surrounding the house are small ranches or bungalows some with resident who never heard of yard care. I am astonish, I thought this would have been in a very tony area of Vegas.
A couple of dozen gays and lesbos should pony up $500,000 for the house and about $3 million for repairs. This would be pocket change for most of them. Then they could all live together, have orgies, whatever, until the house is again one giant ball of germs, bacteria and viruses.

Now back to the house. I’d love to see the now-defunct Liberace Museum take it over, which was one of the most entertaining, colorful and humorous tourist experiences in Ls Vegas.
