YOU DON'T EXPECT PROFANITIES FROM NATALIE PORTMAN

There’s one incident from the Cinematheque tribute to Julia Roberts that you WON’T see when the show airs on AMC in December. Julia became quite friendly with Natalie Portman when they filmed Closer in 2004 and Natalie was one of the people to pay homage to her. Onstage, Natalie recalled that after their movie wrapped, she sent Julia a necklace that spelled out the word C–T. Only she USED The C Word. (The charity gala audience was thoroughly shocked.) With a chuckle, Natalie went on to say that Julia, in turn, sent HER a necklace that said ‘LITTLE C–T.” Again the crowd was aghast at the language. Natalie finished up with “By the way, since I’ll surely be bleeped – I was referring to an intimate part of the female anatomy.” We’re guessing Natalie’s whole appearance might be edited out. Our question is: Where do these women WEAR these necklaces?

  1. Why would Natalie share this with the audience? Is this the best she could do?

  2. That Natalie admitted this proves the rags got it right when they published the story years ago.
Tabloids don’t always lie folks, even if the story sounds too weird to be true.

  3. It is the classic private joke that someone as intelligent as Portman (or Roberts) should have known their adoring public probably wouldn’t “get.”
Stars are completely insulated from reality.

  4. my pop-eyed freak of a dog is called’little c’ if anyone asks, the ‘c’ stands for ‘cutie’.as a female, i feel happy to use the word freely,it surely can’t be more offensive than ‘dick’

  5. Janet! It’s “vulgarities” not “profanities.” The C-word is not religiously based.

  6. Gee, how very classy. I thought you were talking about Queen Elizabeth for a minute

  7. So they think they’re so revolutionary and frat-boy in their outrageous little joke! How clever, bwahahah! Tres recherchez, n’est-ce pas? How rah-sha-sha! Oh please, I can’t either of these overrated cunts.

  8. Wouldn’t it be nice if the ‘so-called’ stars would act like ladies and gentlemen in public???? Hollywood has definitely lost its class!!!!

  9. I’m not at all surprised that this filth would come out of her mouth.

  10. I never understood natalie portmans appeal, someone just said she was terrific and everyone bought it.
I love a line uttered by joan crawford, she said always dress up even if you are a star and just going to the grocery store, we owe it to our public, no one wants to have a celebrity sighting and see us looking terrible.
it’s not an exact quote, but I cant stand to see those stars schlepping around the way they do, if I think of a STAR I think GLAMOUR and thats the way I like to see them. It’s not my call though. so what.
