We were appalled to see this photo of Zsa Zsa Gabor and her sinister “Prince Frederic” supposedly sipping champagne to “celebrate” his 68th birthday. This man will do ANYTHING to get publicity! Poor Zsa Zsa woke up from a coma three weeks ago and we hear she’s barely aware of her surroundings. Yet her cruel husband propped up this ailing former beauty queen in bed – without having her hair and makeup done – and posed for a photo with her because this is the only way HE can get publicity. Tasteless and selfish. And we hear he STILL won’t allow Zsa Zsa’s only daughter Francesca to visit her.

I’m with you Janet. He had plenty of time to prop himself up yet didn’t even bother to make her look presentable for the pictures. Evil man. A lesson to all aging moneybags, and to u 2 Heff.

Killing me softly with his song!!
I do Not think there are any bad words left to describe this shameless moron married to Zsa Zsa. It is (almost)laughable to think that she might outlast his a@ss. When it is all over for him, there is a vision of a fellow dressed in red with a pitchfork waiting at the end of the line for this shameless gigolo. The Zsa Zsa Gabor that we all know would Never be seen without looking her absolute best and smiling for the camera. It is heartbreaking to know that this imposter who considers himself royalty is no more than a shiftless skunk to throw Ms. Gabor to the wolves knowing that she would Never want her public to see her without being dressed in full regalia.
Forget his royal title, he is more closely related to cattle rustlers and horse thieves!!

I suspect that he has a cache of unprinted photos that he will use as he needs for $$$. If Gabor were in better health, Me thinks she would slap the sh_t out of his sorry butt and send him packing.

You lie down with dogs, you get fleas. She married him, and chose him over her daughter…she’s getting what she deserves.

It is a shame that Zsa Zsa has to go through this. She did when she was in her full powers live for pubicity but she would never been photographed in such a fashion. Her mug shot was fab. Her daughter should get full control of her mother’s health care and estate and send the “prince” packing.

She does have many loyal fans who want to see her, and aging is natural and why bother her to pose made-up pretty when we all know this is the real zsa-zsa not some made up sick lady.. save the enhancements for the funeral..

I agree Janet, that he is an a-hole, and sinister is a very appropriate word. I do have to say however, that in this photo, sans makeup, she looks clean and comfortable and is perhaps well taken care of, although she is clearly being taken advantage of.

    Hey Leo,

As my Moma was growing ill, she took me aside and went over several things that she
wanted me to take care of for her…..filing insurance, making different arrangements for different types of care (hospital, nursing home, home care….etc.), making sure her hair and clothes were taken care of, the right kind of lotions (she had beautiful skin), and ….chin hairs. lol

Bless her heart “chin hairs” was her kryptonite. Over time, that became our personal code words. After quadruple bypass surgery, she had a stroke and her memory would fade in and out and mostly out. Each time, I managed to bring her back to reality by the mere mention of chin hairs and the sight my little silver tweezers.

One day about a week before she passed. The doctor called me and I was to meet him in Moma’s room at 1:00. I’d been removing paint from some furniture when he called. I
didn’t realize how bad I looked in ragged, heavily stained work clothes. Plus, it was a windy day and my hair was in every direction. I did remember my trusty tweezers and put them in my pocket. When I got to the hospital, she didn’t recognize anybody and didn’t seem to know how to communicate. The doctor was wanting to put her on some meds that she didn’t need. The room was full of people. I ran up to the end of the bed waving my arms with the tweezers & hollering Chin Hairs Moma ! Chin Hairs!!! It was like a switch came on. She looked at me with a sweet smile and calm voice and said, “Get over here you little
Twit. Get these chin hairs!!!” LOL I miss her every day. 🙂

My sister (older and meaner..lol) told me that I looked just like Briscoe Darling (Andy Griffith Show) that day.

The man is hurting and wants the world to know that he is there for his wife and that he loves her very much and to be with a woman so long is so much of his life mixed with her and He is just showing the world that he is caring for her and watching her and making sure that she is alright and I Can see that is the love of his life and he is making sure that he gets that gift of being with her each and every day and talking and laughting and going over the life..In great details of how they spent there time together as a couple and that is a man who really gives a Dam and is there tending to his wife and that picture is about History of this two people loving and being there for each other and I Bet he is scared and fearful that he would not have this moment with the woman..He loves! And that each day is a gift and at her age..It is wonderful to be able to tell your sweet heart that you love them and care for them and that your hope they are feeling better each day and So leave Prince Alone and let him enjoy his fantastic wife and Yes Zsa Zsa is smart and has made some real classic shows and loves to dress to kill and she was a fashion Lady in her pass and she set style and class and yes she is old and we all get old and youth never last forever but in her day! She moved the earth and He name will live on forever in clothing and class. She is sick and all my well wishes go out to you and hope the lord heals your body and soul. Everybody is a star!!
Thank you opening your treasure chest and sharing this story about you and (your) Moma. She sounds likes a fascinating lady who knew what she wanted, had a voice in what she didn’t want. By all indications she lived well, was surrounded by family and friends who loved her,and had a dedicated son who adored her. Without sounding too personal, I think I know where you got 1/2 of your sense of humor, and heartfelt sense of communications with others. I applaud you With (honored) appreciation for sharing Your Moma with all of us.

I hope that you do Not mind me mentioning your story/comment from June the 8th about Weston Cage and his trainer and their brawl on the street. If any of our Pen Pals missed Walt Cliff’s comment from 6/8/11,please take a few minutes, and check it out.If you are able to read his comment without laughing, please have your pulse checked!!

    Hey Leo,
As always, thank you for the kind words. It’s true, Moma and I were close & had a wicked sense of humor. I don’t mind you mentioning anything I write down.

Moma & Papa would make a big fire and invite the kids on the street over to toast marshmellows & hotdogs and tell ghost stories. When they the stories became really scary, everyone would pile up on our porch where the monsters couldn’t get us. lol At some point, my Moma would slip away, put a stocking over her head and then scare the wits out of us. She did it one time and it scare Papa so bad he fell off the porch swing backward. I looked at Moma and she had a mean little twinkle in her eye. I looked at her and said, “I bet your sorry for scaring Papa.” She said never looked at me but said, “I bet I’m not.” No one ever got the best of her and evidentally Papa had crossed her somehow.

Even tho Prince is somewhat of an A**hole, I think we should look and see what he has done that was good. She was on death’s door 2 (3?) times and each time he rushed her to the E.R. instead of letting her die (he would not have been at fault from authorities for ths). At least he did not put her in a nursing home and I’m sure he did hire nurses at their home to take care of her; tho we don’t know if it is a part time nurse of 24/7 nurse. I think she could have been fixed up a little better, but the champagne was entirely appropriate. At that age, what is so wrong with having champagne; this was always her drink of choice. We don’t know what else he suffered with her and maybe he did love her in his own way. She chose to marry him and at least he didn’t bail as she grew sicker and older.

Funny story about your moma Walt. There’s a special place in heaven for a man who’ll tweezer his mother’s chin hairs. Reminds me of a story someone told me about their elderly aunt in the nursing home who absolutely insisted that her moustache be waxed, and warned her daughters that when she passes, they better not lay out her with a hairy upper lip.

Isn’t it a bit ironic that a woman who spent her entire career deliberately generating cheap tabloid publicity (often at the expense of others) is now herself a victim of cheap tabloid publicity?!

Walt my old great auntie used to say she would not remove the hairs on her chin because they were “money hairs’! And she had lots of money. Waterfront property in Victoria, etc. But on the odd occasion a Wildebeast would follow her home from the store.
    Money hairs.
