KESHA – A SURVIVOR AFTER YEARS IN A LEGAL BATTLE

We almost didn’t recognize Kesha when she appeared on The Today Show this morning. Gone is the tangled blonde hair and the glittery face makeup- not to mention the outrageous fashion. She looks dead serious. Is this what working with Sony music producer Dr Luke did to her? Since 2014, she has been in endless courtroom battles with him – she couldn’t get out of her contract (signed when she was 18) after claiming he abused her. He has sued her for defamation, her mother, and her lawyer (even a fan of hers) multiples times and she countersued – and mostly lost. Does she have any money left? Hopefully she can pull her life and career back together.

Court Glitter Hair! Kesha

KESHA IS READY TO TESTIFY

The Hollywood premier of the Foo Fighters movie Studio 666 (described as a “supernatural horror comedy,”) attracted the music crowd- among them was the unrecognizable Kesha. We haven’t seen much of Kesha lately- she had to cancel her 2020 tour because of Covid and has been keeping busy in court fighting music producer Dr Luke. Remember, she accused him of raping her and he insisted it was a lie because she wanted out of her contract. Since 2014, they’ve been going back and forth with lawsuits and Dr Luke still has a defamation and breach of contract lawsuit against her. During that time in court Kesha refined her look – to put it mildly – no more long blonde wild hair and gone is the glitter makeup and distressed clothing. All this to impress the judge?

KESHA WILL BE ISOLATING IN STYLE

Kesha, 33, must be doing something right – she just signed on the dotted line to purchase a very comfortable new house in Mar Vista – strange timing, but maybe she got a good deal. She paid five million dollars for a modern 5,942 sq ft home with 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths, plus a guest house and pool. Our favorite feature is the gigantic movie screen over the guest house/garage. Check out the entire house in the Dirt real estate section in Variety. Sweet to imagine watching movies on the patio next summer…

Hair! Kesha Lookin' Good!

KESHA HAS FINALLY FOUND HER LOOK

Kesha knocked the audience dead at the LGBTQ LoveLoud Music Festival in Salt Lake City, and much of her success was due to her new hair color. We were never fond of her wavy blond extensions and her taste in fashion has always been perplexing, at best. She did look great for awhile when she left rehab, but then she started experimenting with lip enhancement. THIS is the new and improved Kesha – the dark hair is perfect for her. She has never looked better and now she’s singing “What if rich, straight white men didn’t rule the world anymore?

SNEAKY KESHA: CAUGHT IN THE ACT!

Kesha had a medical appointment in Beverly Hills today and thought she could outsmart the paparazzi who patrol on the street by slipping out the back door and having a car pick her up in the alley. The doctor’s assistant walked Kesha to the medical building’s rear exit, but the paparazzi snapped her in the alley. We don’t know why she covered her face, but Kesha has a big concert tour planned with Macklemore starting in June, so maybe she had some tweaking done on her mouth or her teeth…

Kesha Nudie the Rodeo Tailor Worst Dressed

KESHA: WORST DRESSED YET AGAIN

It’s nice that Kesha is obviously a fan of Patsy Cline and she’s knocking off Patsy’s gorgeous gabardine cowgirl suits designed by Nudie the legendary rodeo tailor. However, Kesha’s updated versions leave a LOT to be desired. Kesha admits SHE designed this ill-fitting shiny pink suit with the tattoo-like patches. The black bra poking out doesn’t help one bit. And we’re not even going to mention those hair extensions. Fortunately, Kesha’s music skills far exceed her design ability and her career is flourishing.

No stranger to a red carpet, Vanessa Hudgens knows this MTV event is all about being young, having fun, and taking chances with creative style. Her red dress hits all the right notes- playful, colorful, not too sexy, just adorable…

Kesha’s dress is what comes up when you Google “Quinceanera.” Too many ruffles – and what do you call that color? Is it greyish-pink or pinkish beige? Either way – far too drab, and all that fabric is not flattering. A BALL GOWN- as wrong as you can get for MTV!

It would be no big deal if this WERE Kesha because she’s known for her “perplexing” outfits. But it happens to be Jessica Simpson and SHE runs a billion dollar fashion company, so we have higher expectations! What possessed her! Jessica is blessed with so much natural beauty, but her too-tight outfit makes her look like – dare we say – a floozie! And those Kesha style sunglasses are just plain silly. Would YOU buy clothes from her?

KESHA’S TRAVELING OUTFIT IS BEYOND WORDS

This has to be the goofiest outfit we’ve ever seen anyone wear to fly out of LAX. Kesha’s boyfriend can hardly keep a straight face. It’s actually appropriate in a way because Kesha is currently on her Rainbow Tour. She has a lot to be cheerful about – her days in a courtroom may be over for awhile, she just released some singles and her new music is doing well. She’s making money on tour but that hasn’t upgraded her wardrobe – aren’t pop stars supposed to dress BETTER (or at least cooler) than the rest of us?

KESHA IS NEVER SATISFIED WITH HERSELF

Sometimes we think the main reason Kesha gets space in the gossip columns is because she’s always changing her face and body. Considering how MUCH her looks have evolved at the tender age of 29, we have to assume she’s addicted to cosmetic surgery and procedures. The We R Who We R singer showed up at the Billboard Women in Music event in New York and we wouldn’t have recognized her. No more freckles. Her face seems to have been rearranged and there was nothing wrong with it in the first place!
