WORST DRESSED THIS WEEK: KRISTEN STEWART

Not that there’s anything wrong with garter belts. But why on earth did Kristen Stewart choose to wear THIS to tape her appearance on the Seth Meyers Show? Creativity and originality are always appreciated, but Kristen doesn’t even look comfortable in this sexy get-up. Interesting (and welcome) that she did not over-do anything in the makeup department – no giant false eyelashes or big shiny lips. And no fake hair blowing in the wind. But the outfit just screams TRYING TOO HARD and we have to vote her worst dressed this week.

PINK: WORST DRESSED THIS WEEK

Hands down the goofiest outfit we have ever seen Pink wear (For daytime shopping in NYC, no less)…and maybe the least flattering. Pink has always been a bit sexually ambiguous so we are never surprised to see her wearing something athletic or boyish. Her physicality and gymnastic ability are showcased in her performances, along with her husky voice and tough-girl attitude. But THIS black shiny get-up in the heat of summer is inexplicable. It has no connection to reality and makes her athletic body look short and stout. With stiletto heels no less…

Cannes Film Festival Catherine Deneuve Worst Dressed

WORST DRESSED: CATHERINE DENEUVE

The Cannes film Festival red carpet attracts a huge assortment of fashion and it can’t ALL be fabulous. We love Catherine Deneuve, but we do NOT love her gown. The top is the worst. It makes her look like she has a very short neck and the sleeves make her look like she’s shrugging all the time. But the body of the unforgiving dress makes her look as sturdy and square as a refrigerator. And she seems SO uncomfortable! Something softer and looser would be far more flattering for this legendary beauty….

WORST DRESSED THIS WEEK: ADAM SANDLER

Why men with perfectly nice hair wear baseball caps indoors will always be a mystery to me. Adam Sandler took his family to a Lakers game looking like THIS. Of course the grizzly beard makes him look like every other badly dressed guy, but the awful pink polyester shirt  and baggy shorts (pedal pushers?) make one wonder if he has access to a mirror. One thing is certain – he’s not trying  too hard…

WORST DRESSED THIS WEEK: TARAJI P HENSON

It’s apparent that Taraji P Henson is TRYING very hard to look cool and comfortable in this strange outfit, but it’s not happening. The color is becoming, but the unflattering design featuring what looks like a plump shirt tied around her waist adds a lot of poundage. The 12 inch platform heels are absurdly dangerous and she really needs someone to hold onto when she’s just walking to her car. Bad choice… NOT comfortable and NOT flattering!

WORST DRESSED SHARON STONE: WHAT WAS SHE THINKING?

Sharon Stone showed up at a party for Anastasia Beverly Hills 25th anniversary wearing THIS. What happened? The gorgeous actress is usually the best dressed at any event she attends. This monumentally unflattering dress (mini-tent?) immediately makes you wonder if she can sit down – or drive. Is it inflatable?  And the huge earrings don’t soften the look. It’s not easy to make Sharon Stone look bad.  Certainly she raised eyebrows at the glamorous event.

American Music Awards Bebe Rexha Worst Dressed

BEBE REXHA: TRYING WAY TOO HARD

As much as we LOVE the color red, we have to vote Bebe Rexha Worst Dressed on the American Music Awards red carpet. Bebe has been at war with couture designers – she complained that top designers would not create dresses for her because at size 8, she is just too large. For the AMA’s she went to a non-judgmental Chinese designer who gave her everything she wanted in one dress. Too much, in fact. She looks desperate for attention with those huge puff shoulders, ruffles everywhere, and a long train, topped off by deep cleavage. A little less fluff and a little more rock n’ roll would have suited the occasion better.

Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Joe Jonas Sophie Turner Worst Dressed

ABSOLUTE WORST DRESSED COUPLE: JOE JONAS AND SOPHIE TURNER

The good thing is that Joe Jonas and his wife Sophie Turner have similar taste, and that makes them a good match. The bad thing is that they have equally BAD taste. The pair turned up at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Gala dressed like THIS. The first thing you notice is that they are trying SO hard to look cool. Joe’s fishnet print over the leather suit covered with grommets and buckles is WAY too busy, bordering on ridiculous. Sophie’s questionable and bulky khaki jacket over black lace tights is just plain odd. It’s not the first time we’ve seen this nice-looking couple dressed in equally unflattering outfits.

Bad Fashion Boots Rihanna Worst Dressed

SORRY RIHANNA: WORST DRESSED THIS WEEK

Hands down- no competition- Rihanna takes the award for Worst Dressed this week. What WAS she thinking? A woman in the fashion business should know better. Rihanna combined a very short cropped denim micro miniskirt with gigantic baggy boots- granted, there is a peek-a-boo element, but the boots make her look like a truck from every angle. They are probably designer boots that cost a fortune, but why pay a ton of money to look shorter and wider? Grossly unflattering.

Bad Fashion Billy Porter Fashion Worst Dressed

WORST DRESSED THIS WEEK: GUESS WHO!

Everybody makes a mistake once in awhile- but this person is usually King AND Queen on the red carpet! It’s singer/actor Billy Porter, of course, and who can forget his black velvet tuxedo gown designed by Christian Siriano at the 2019 Oscars? Billy has a big personality and when he arrives on a red carpet everything comes to a standstill. Above, it was just another day in New York and maybe the heat dampened some of Billy’s enthusiasm because he tossed together a colorful but not-so-inspiring look. Good thing he has a mask on…
